Livraisons Square et Stella-Veloce

Dear Ambassadeurs, grands Ambassadeurs, customers and followers,

2025 has been our best year since Bohen was founded, and 2026 is shaping up to be a major turning point for us. I will share a summary with you shortly and tell you more about our projects currently in development.

DELIVERIES:

Each new model launch tends to follow the same story: a silent wait, broken only by the discreet hissing of a pressure cooker. It has almost become a tradition. But our factories remind us every time: the planned delivery window is late December—or January.

For the Stella Veloce, we spent far more time than expected on the titanium treatment, which I wanted to be as perfect as possible. There were also slight adjustments to the dial color to improve contrast and enhance legibility. Finally, the Stella features two chapter rings—something that, to my knowledge, is a world first. The outer chapter ring required significant technical feats, as it is not part of the dial but integrated into the case bezel.

The Square is a different story. After announcing the retail price, we received the first prototype of the watch. However, it did not meet our usual standards. Much like in school, manufacturing quality can be graded. To make this clear, let’s say the bottom of the pyramid would be a “C-,” while an “A+” represents the pinnacle of quality (excluding high horology, which lies outside this grading concept).Affordable Swiss Made brands—simple but well-made—are generally rated C+. As for A+, that is the absolute grail. Since Bohen was founded, this has been our sole production standard. It requires sacrifices, resilience, and even moments of real concern.

However, the first version of the Square was rated B+, and that was an issue for me. We took time to think about it, weighed the pros and cons, held a family meeting, and ultimately decided that Bohen would only ever produce watches at an A+ quality level.

As a result, the Square is no longer a catalogue model—it is now a limited edition of 500 pieces.

We redesigned the prototypes, achieved the required quality, and paid the full price difference out of our own pocket. All of this took time, but that time is a direct gain for you, because it is precisely what allows us to offer you the very best quality possible.

For the past two weeks, both the Stella Veloce and the Square have been waiting for assembly. As we are the smallest brand among our manufacturers, we are always scheduled after the superstars—so we are “waiting eagerly.” I am also reminded that it is my standards that caused the schedule to shift. I accept this responsibility. I am making you wait, but my job is not to ensure the train departs on time like the national railway. My job is to deliver the soul and the quality that define Bohen, and the emotion that this alchemy creates.

For those who own all our watches, waiting has become familiar. For those making their first purchase with us, thank you in advance for your understanding. Once you have your Bohen in hand, you will understand why all our clients become irrationally enthusiastic about the brand.

Final point: As many of you know, Lucie and I are overwhelmed with work. For several months now, we have even been working Saturdays and Sundays. For this reason, we will no longer respond to questions regarding delivery dates—whether by email or phone—as we would only be repeating what is written here. We are almost there. Please be patient—the result will be perfect for both models.
